CARTER and BEETY are two “nurses” with unique jobs at Mt. Airy Hospital: they are brought in to tun off life support machines. When their supervisor informs them that they must spend time shadowing attending physicians, Beety meets ELLIS, a woman suffering from chronic illness. As Beety and Ellis become more familiar, Beety begins to question the nature of his position at Mt. Airy.
